Our Town Rocks has announced the 9th Annual Dundee Winter Concert to benefit the Dundee Food Pantry sponsored by Dundee area businesses and organized by local residents, Alan Giles and Bruce Kendall. The Concert features Cool Club and The Lipker Sisters with opening act Randy Knapp.
The concert will be held at Tin Barn Brewing in Dundee on February 28th at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 at the door and all ticket sales go directly to the Dundee Food Pantry.
According to organizers, “Down Home Chic …small town charm-big city style. Cool Club & The Lipker Sisters are an intoxicating blend of intricate harmonies with the sophistication of jazz, the soul of R&B mixed with Latin and good old rock and roll. They bring their unique style to everything they do. Be it the Great American Songbook, an R&B classic, or one of their infectious originals, they never forget……. it don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing”!
Local musician Randy Knapp opens the concert with his own unique, down-homestyle. A guitarist and a “storyteller”, Randy keeps his audience smiling.
Doors open at 6 p.m. on February 28th.
