There was a celebration Saturday afternoon in the village of Penn Yan that brought out the Yates County community. The celebration on East Elm Street marked the 10th anniversary of the Living Well/ A community and grant supported non-profit, the Living Well provides emergency assistance for food, personal hygiene and household cleaning necessities; utilities; referral services; peer support for loss and those living with cancer. It also offers a variety of programs for area youth.

On Saturday, there was free food, games, music, raffles and more as residents joined Living Well staff, volunteers, board members and clients to celebrate what the organization has meant to the community it serves.
