For the sixth consecutive year, Community Bank celebrated National Good Neighbor Day on September 28th. Branches across the bank’s four-state footprint marked the day by donating to community causes and organizations on a local level to help make an impact close to home.
“September 28 is a special day for Community Bank because it represents our priority: being a good neighbor to help build strong, thriving communities in the places where our customers and team members work, play, and live; the communities we serve and love,” CEO Mark Tryniski said. “It’s about making a difference and helping one cause, one person, one community at a time—together.”
This year, Community Bank’s Canandaigua branch is supporting the Friendship House of Middlesex Food Pantry with a $250 donation, while the Penn Yan branch is supporting Veterans One Stop Center of WNY, Inc. with a $250 donation. The donation will support the “We Are Dwyer” program in Yates County.
