Colorado Woman Injured After Train Strikes Car in Yates County

A Colorado woman was taken to Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital after her car was struck by a train in Yates County.

The Norfolk Southern Train collided with the car after the vehicle came to rest on the west side of the train tracks on Seneca Street in Dresden. 77-year-old Lyndda Bush of Englewood, Colorado, suffered a shoulder injury and was taken to the Penn Yan Hospital by ambulance. The train engineer and conductor were not hurt.

The train engineer, 50-year-old Aaron Schwartz, of Arkport, and its conductor, 53-year-old James Kellogg, of East Smithfield, Pennsylvania, were not injured.
