With the recent opening of Cayuga Health Psychology, Cayuga Health has officially launched its inaugural outpatient behavioral therapy service. With a growing demand for behavioral health services locally, this new practice aims to enhance access to high-quality care for individuals facing social-emotional challenges.
Dr. Kaitlin Lilienthal, PhD, a seasoned practitioner with expertise in anxiety, sleep disorders, autism spectrum conditions, and life transitions, leads the practice. She offers evidence-based therapy services, including individual, couples, and family counseling. While currently focused on adults, the practice plans to expand services to children and teens in the future.
“I am proud to be part of the effort being made across the health system to support the whole-person health needs of my community,” said Dr. Lilienthal.
Cayuga Health Psychology accepts almost all insurance types, ensuring that community members can access the care they need. The office is conveniently located at 40 Catherwood Drive within Cayuga Health at the Ithaca Mall.
Dr. Lilienthal completed her fellowship and internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Syracuse. She then earned her Ph.D. from the University of North Dakota. She is a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association.
