A Bath woman is facing charges in her hometown and Pennsylvania for allegedly stealing two cars.
Charlene Kowalski is accused of stealing the first car from the parking lot of the Save-A-Lot store on West Morris Street in Bath. The vehicle was later found in Maryville, Pennsylvania and the 32-year-old Kowalski was booked into the Cumberland County prison before being released. Last Wednesday, Bath Police were tipped off to where Kowalski was in the village as she had an active arrest warrant for a felony grand larceny charge. When she was arrested in Bath, Kowalski was allegedly in possession of a car that was stolen out of Middlesex Township, Pennsylvania.
Kowalski was subsequently charged with felony criminal possession of stolen property and sent to Steuben County Jail in lieu of bail.
