It’s the Humane Society of Yates County’s largest annual fundraiser and it returns on Friday. “Bail for Paws” will take place at Bk8d & Loaded on Basin Street in Penn Yan from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The public is invited to stop in and take part.
“Bail for Paws” is an annual event where volunteers “fake arrest” criminals who have committed some type of crime in order to raise funds for the local Humane Society. The desperados will be locked up in the holding cell at the former Penn Yan Police Department location until they have raised $1,000 in bail money.
There is a variety of ways to donate including:
- contact the “desperados” directly
