An Auburn man will spend the next 12 years in state prison after being sentenced in Schuyler County Court.
Back in August, charges were filed against 56-year-old James Russell by a woman and a female juvenile who accused the 56-year-old of sexually assaulting them a number of years ago in the town of Hector. Russell was arrested in October and pleaded guilty to a felony charge of course of sexual conduct against a child in November.
In addition to prison time, Russell was also sentenced to ten years of post-release supervision.
