Municipalities and non-profits in Steuben, Schuyler, and Chemung counties are eligible to apply for new rounds of funding through the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC).
Two funding opportunities are currently available:
Area Development Projects, with awards ranging from $5,000 to $500,000.
POWER Process Grants, which provide funding of $1 million or more.
Applications are due by September 18, 2025.
Southern Tier Central staff are available to assist municipalities and organizations interested in applying.
