Now entering its 31st year, the Watkins Glen Waterfront Festival returns Saturday to the Schuyler County village. The annual event at the Seneca Harbor Park is anchored by the popular Cardboard Boat Regatta.
The event runs from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Food, Craft, and non-profit vendors will be open from 11 am along the Harbor Parking lots and grass. Organizers say there will be free children’s activities in the Cardboard Boat Concourse area.
As always, a local band, Five Man Trio, will be playing in the large parking lot tent near the old Village Marina, following the award announcements.
This event’s main attraction is the whimsical Cardboard Boat Regatta, where creative minds craft boats out of cardboard and put them to the test on the water. The Regatta begins on Saturday at 2 pm.
