A teenager was killed in a car versus motorcycle accident in Steuben County.
State Police say the 18-year-old male was riding a 2007 Chappy Yamaha motorcycle south on State Route 63 in Wayland on Thursday when he passed a car in a no-passing zone. The motorcycle struck a northbound Kia Sorento head-on, causing the motorcyclist to be ejected.
The 18-year-old, who has yet to be identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Kia, a 73-year-old woman from Dansville, was taken to Dansville Hospital for minor injuries.
