An online petition is “demanding” that Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, who represents the 24th Congressional District, host a town hall-style meeting in the district during the next legislative recess in mid-April.
The petition is on the progressive public policy advocacy group and political action committee website Move On dot org.
So far just over 12 hundred people have signed the petition.
According to MoveOn, the petition explains that New Yorkers want to hear from their Republican representatives who are standing behind President Trump and Elon Musk as they drastically slash the government workforce, dismantle crucial federal agencies and work to end government programs that millions of Americans rely on.
