Authorities in Wayne County held a news conference on Friday to discuss what they could about the arrests of four teenagers accused of assaulting a football teammate in the locker room on Halloween. Three of the teens are charged with felony aggravated sexual abuse and the fourth is charged with two felony unlawful surveillance counts.
First District Attorney Christine Callanan said the charges the Clyde-Savannah students face are severe.
Callanan was asked if the teens could be tried as adults.
The fourth student arrested is charged with two felony unlawful surveillance counts. All four teens, who range in age from 15 to 17, are due back in court next week.
