What’s Cooking With the Geneva City Council?

SHARE NOW

The Geneva City Council tonight will hear from residents and business owners on a plan to allow food trucks and push carts to operate in city.

In 2012 the council rejected a plan for food trucks because of opposition from restaurant owners. The new proposal would allow five trucks to operate in the city, one each on Exchange and Seneca Streets and in Bicentennial Park, and two at the lakefront.

The license fee would be $750 dollars and allows the trucks to operate from April to October.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Building. It also is live streamed on the city’s YouTube page.
