A Marion man has been sentenced to 2 to 6 years in state prison for a fatal motorcycle crash last year.
Wayne County prosecutors say Justin Krocke was impaired by drugs when he rode a motorcycle with his wife, Kelley Smith, on November 7, 2024. Krocke drove onto a sidewalk to pass stopped cars, lost control, and Smith was ejected. She later died at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.
Krocke, who suffered minor injuries, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced this week.
