After receiving a number of CyberTipLine reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, State Police arrested a 19-year-old Wayne County man on felony counts of promoting and possessing a sexual performance by a child.
It is alleged Colin O’Connell promoted child exploitation material on the Internet and possessed additional material on an electronic device. The New York State Police Internet Crimes Against Child Task Force and the New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit assisted in this lengthy investigation.
The Ontario man was released on an appearance ticket.
