For 86-years students in Waterloo attended the Main Street School.
Starting today the three-story building at 206 East Main Street is now called LaFayette Apartments.
Two by Four Construction of East Syracuse bought the school for $600,000 dollars and has transformed the building into 35 apartments.
The company is now accepting applications from people 62 and older interested in renting the one-and-two-bedroom apartments. The apartments are available to residents with household incomes at or below 60% of the area median income.
An open house to show off the apartments will be held today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
