    In New York, Chemung, Schuyler, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Steuben, Tompkins, and Yates Counties. In Pennsylvania, Bradford and Wyoming Counties.

    Until 2 PM EDT Saturday.
    IMPACTS
    Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
    ADDITIONAL DETAILS
    There will be several periods of stronger winds, with this afternoon seeing strong southerly winds, then a break this evening, before stronger west wind develop tonight into Saturday.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Waterloo Weekend Street Closures

From the Waterloo Police Department:

Throughout the entire weekend West Williams St will be closed between North Seneca St and Center St, and Memorial Day PL will be closed.
The Celebrate Commemorate Parade is being held on Saturday at 11:00 am and Main St will be closed between Memorial Day PL and Swift St from 10:40 am until the completion of the parade.
Saturday evening fireworks are being held on Oak Island and there will be a large amount of vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area of Oak St and W Main St. Please avoid this area if you are passing through and not going to the fireworks.
The Wheels on Main Street Car Show will be held on Sunday and the roadway of Main Street between Oak St and Church St will be restricted to two lanes. There is a parking restriction in effect beginning at 5 am on Sunday where parking is prohibited in this section of Main St except for vehicles involved in the car show.
The traditional Memorial Day Parade will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 pm. Main St will be closed between Memorial Day PL and Swift St from 5:40 pm until the completion of the parade. Following the parade, a ceremony will be held at Lafayette Park, and Memorial Day Place will remain closed until the completion of the ceremony.
