Waterloo House Fire Under Investigation

Waterloo, Border City, Geneva, and Oaks Corners Fire Departments were called out just after three this morning for a house fire along Routes 5&20, the Waterloo-Geneva Road. The house is on L.T. Rice Drive.

Initial reports said a person was trapped inside the home, but when first responders arrived all four adults were accounted for.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Routes 5&20 was closed for about 2-hours as firefighters were on the scene.
