One Seneca County village could soon invest in a study of a renovated or new public safety building.
The idea came up at this month’s Waterloo Village Board meeting during a discussion on how to use a $25,000 allocation to the village from the county’s American Rescue Plan Act funding. The Waterloo Police Department is located within the Municipal Building and is sharing space with the village’s administrative offices and an insurance agency.
The village board made no final decision on how to use the funds.
