Waterloo Container Co. has announced the launch of a new swingtop crownable bottle, produced in the U.S. by Ardagh Glass Packaging-North America (AGP-North America), available exclusively through Waterloo Container.
The bottle features a tall, sleek design, ideal for moderately-carbonated cider, sparkling wines, and specialty beverages. It is distinguished by its quality, refined aesthetics, and American craftsmanship.
This release reflects Waterloo Container’s long-standing partnership with AGP-North America. As an East Coast distributor for Ardagh, Waterloo Container has collaborated closely with the manufacturer to provide high-quality, American-made glass to beverage producers across the region.
“Working with Bill Lutz and the Waterloo Container team has been an absolute privilege,” said David Humes, VP of Sales – Beer, Beverage, and Wine at AGP-North America. “This swingtop project showcases what can be achieved when two companies share a dedication to quality, innovation, and American manufacturing.”
The new domestically-produced swingtop bottle offers a consistent, tariff-free alternative to imported glass, avoiding freight delays and quality inconsistencies.
“This bottle represents more than a great package—it represents our founder Bill Lutz’s commitment to keeping quality glass manufacturing alive in the U.S.,” said Mark C. Pitifer of Waterloo Container. “With Ardagh’s support, we’re proud to offer a truly unique, American-made swingtop crownable bottle in both clear and amber glass, exclusively through Waterloo Container.”
Cideries, wineries, and craft beverage producers interested in the new U.S.-made swingtop bottles can contact Waterloo Container to secure their supply.
