A vigil with Sam’s family will be held from 1 until 2 at 35 Lake Front Drive, Geneva. Organizers are asking those who want to take part to bring candles and to wear red or grey. The group will be meeting at the Geneva Welcome Center before going to the Pier.
Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes will be hosting a vigil tonight at the Wood Library in Canandaigua for Sam Nordquist.
Organizers have released a list of ground rules to make this a respectful and positive event.
1.) There are to be no candles or open flames allowed
2.) Space is limited inside
3.) Parking is also very limited — please do not park in either of the senior housing lots near the Library.
4.) Please do not restrict the use of the library’s building for their patrons.
