Mary Sue Dehn with the Finger Lakes Health Foundation says the money comes from the Marilyn Lichtman Foundation. The foundation’s Richard Yarmel says “we understand the importance of this equipment in diagnosing and treating a range of diseases and injuries, and are gratified to support an initiative that increases access for residents of Ontario and the surrounding counties to the highest level of care.” The new machine is part of ongoing improvements to digital imaging and Geneva General and Soldiers & Sailors Hospital in Penn Yan. Soldiers & Sailors opened a brand new digital imaging suite last month.
