10:30 a.m. UPDATE:
An anonymous tip led to the early morning capture of Daniel Sevigny by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office. Sevigny is the man police asked the public for help in locating after he cut off his ankle monitor on March 14th prior to his court sentencing for sexual predatory assault involving a minor.
The tip received by police led them to 38 Chapin Street in Canandaigua where the 43-year-old was located and taken into custody without incident. Sevigny will appear in Ontario County Court to answer the bench warrant that had been issued for him.
The Sheriff’s Office appreciates the public’s assistance in helping them locate Sevigny.
Your help is needed by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office in locating a man who cut off his ankle monitor on March 14th and fled before he was to be sentenced for sexual predatory assault involving a minor.
Investigators say 43-year-old Daniel Sevigny, who also goes by the nickname ZERO, is known to frequent the Canandaigua area. Sevigny is listed at 5’11 220 pounds with brown hair and eyes.
Police ask that if you spot Daniel Sevigny, you don’t approach or attempt to detain him.
