There are two open school board seats at the Geneva City School District—one for a five-year term and the other for a one-year term. The five-year term will go to the highest vote-getter.
Petitions are available for pickup on weekdays at the District Office, 400 West North Street, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are due on April 30. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and residents of the district for at least one year continuously. They cannot be employed by the Geneva City School District or live in the same household with another member of the school board.
