Shortly after 11 Friday night, Geneva Police spotted a rear entrance door window had been smashed with a brick at 142 Castle Street. Police did not locate a suspect and a K9 Officer brought to the scene was unable to track the suspect. Officers attempted to contact the business owner, but they were unable to respond.

In the second incident, police responded to a Washington Street business just before 8 Saturday morning for a reported burglary.

The suspect stole over $100 from the cash register and fled the scene. It was determined the suspect caused over $250 in damage to the business door.
The suspect was wearing a mask and several layers of clothing to help conceal their identity. Police believe the suspect may be involved with the burglary at Hernandez Mexican Store on December 20th.
