Two Arrested for Allegedly Abusing Disabled Person in Seneca Falls

SHARE NOW

Two people have been arrested after a lengthy investigation into physical abuse allegations at a local housing facility for people with disabilities.

58-year-old Vicki Wilson, of Seneca Falls, and 46-year-old Joseph Kopetchny, of Newark, were charged with felony endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person.

Back in May, Seneca Falls Police launched an investigation after receiving a report of staff members physically abusing a mentally and physically disabled resident at an unidentified housing facility. Kopetchny and Wilson are alleged to have injured the victim as a result of the unwanted physical contact.

Both were issued an appearance ticket and are scheduled to return to the Seneca Falls Town Court to answer the charges at a later date.
