If you live in the town of Geneva, you’ll soon be able to sign up to get notifications from the town. Supervisor Mark Venuti said residents who sign up will be able to choose how and what they want to be alerted about.
“If you want to give us your cell phone number, we can send you text notifications or if you sign up with your e-mail you can be part of e-mail blasts,” said Venuti. “It’s the way of the future. If there’s some road that’s closed or an accident, we can send out notifications to residents and we can also let you know about upcoming events if you choose that option.”
Venuti adds that residents who sign up can also opt-out at any time.
