Todd Hobin signs a copy of his 1978 “Todd Hobin Band”LP
In the 1970’s, the Todd Hobin Band played in Wayne County and in other venues across the Finger Lakes.
Sunday night, Todd returned to Wayne County for the last event for the Wayne County Bicentennial’s yearlong celebration of the County’s 200th anniversary.
Todd Hobin is now a professor at Le Moyne College in Syracuse. The show was part concert and part history of Rock and Roll.
The lecture was punctuated with personal reflections from Hobin and his first-hand experience having worked with some of the early practitioners of rock’n’roll such as Little Richard, James Cotton (Muddy Waters), The Kinks, The Beach Boys, and many more. He is still performing today while continuing as a professor and a fan of Rock. He has played in concert halls, stadiums, barrooms, roadhouses, fields, cities and too many towns to mention.
Hobin says of his life-long adventure, “I am a road warrior who is still playing, still writing songs, still recording, still practicing, and still dreaming.”
