Three men who are convicted felons have been arrested on felony gang assault charges for their role in an incident that happened on New Year’s Eve in Geneva.
32-year-old Jamie Downing, of Lyons, 40-year-old Horace Betts, and 28-year-old Tyler Liberatore, both of Geneva, are accused of attacking another person on Seneca Street with a baseball bat. The victim suffered a broken jaw and internal injuries.
All three men are being held in Ontario County Jail without bail.
Liberatore was arrested last week on a felony weapons charge for his alleged role in the December 21st shooting near the Geneva Library.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
