A convicted felon has been arrested for his alleged role in a shooting near Castle Street in the city of Geneva last month.
Geneva Police charged 31-year-old Joequell Solomon, of Geneva, with felony criminal possession of a weapon, after he was identified as a person of interest in connection with the shooting that happened early on December 21st. Police say five shots were fired toward the Geneva Library. No injuries were reported.
Last week, 32-year-old Erica White, and 28-year-old Tyler Liberatore, both of Geneva, were arrested on the same felony charge as Solomon.
Additional charges are pending and Geneva Police more arrests are expected to be made.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
