12:30 p.m. UPDATE:
𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 between Route 332 and Brickyard Road remains closed as utility crews continue their work. In addition to the storm damage, other utility companies are installing internet cables in the area.
The road is expected to reopen by 6:00 PM tonight.A Sunday afternoon storm caused damage in the town of Canandaigua, forcing the temporary closure of Thomas Road between Route 332 and Brickyard Road.
Town officials said multiple utility poles and wires came down across the roadway. Crews worked for several hours to clear the debris and restore service.
