A Canton, New York man has been arrested in connection with a July break-in at a local business.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Joseph Tacchino was taken into custody on Thursday and charged with third-degree burglary. Investigators say Tacchino unlawfully entered WNY Flex Space in Farmington around 3 a.m. on July 1st while the business was closed, with the intent to commit a crime inside. Authorities say he also stole items from several vehicles in the parking lot before leaving the scene.
Tacchino was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment in CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
