A 39-year-old Sodus man has been arrested following an investigation into two separate incidents that occurred late last year in Wayne County, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested Tyrone Walker Jr. on Jan. 30 in connection with incidents reported in November and December of 2025.
Walker is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny following a November case in which he allegedly stole a credit card and used it to make multiple unauthorized transactions, investigators said.
He is also charged with third-degree attempted robbery stemming from a reported robbery at a Kwik Fill convenience store in Lyons in December.
Authorities said Walker was taken to the Wayne County Jail, where he was held without bail while awaiting arraignment.
He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
