A candidate running for town board in one Ontario County township has picked up the endorsement of the county’s Republican Committee.
Ruth Smith is seeking election to the West Bloomfield Town Board and is running on the Good Governance Party in the November election.
Smith says her goal is to get out and meet the people and share their opinions and concerns so she can bring them back to other town board members.
“I’m glad for this opportunity because I want to give back; especially to my community,” said Smith. “I enjoy being able to serve others in various capacities and this is just another avenue to help make a difference and be a positive voice in our West Bloomfield community.”
