Police say a Shortsville man may have suffered a medical emergency before crashing into a tree in the village of Shortsville on Sunday morning.
According to witnesses, 57-year-old Todd Kravetz stopped abruptly on Water Street just before 11 a.m. before accelerating off the roadway at a high rate of speed and striking a tree.
Kravetz was transported to Clifton Springs Hospital for evaluation. Police later issued him a ticket for unlicensed operation.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
