A Supreme Court Justice can now review the video and print records of Seneca Falls Town Board meetings from 2016, and then issue a decision on whether the local law calling for closing the Seneca Meadows Landfill should be nullified.
The Finger Lakes Times reports Seneca Meadows, the town, and the Concerned Citizens of Seneca County have signed a stipulation agreeing on the record of the town board meetings. Seneca Meadows claims the local law calling for the landfill to close by the end of 2025 violated elements of the State Environmental Quality Review process.
No time frame for the judge’s decision has been given.
