A woman was arrested in Seneca Falls on Thursday and charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
It’s alleged that 30-year-old Destiney Palmer of Seneca falls engaged in excessive corporal punishment with children ages two and four on Nov. 19. Palmer also subjected the children to exstensive verbal abuse.
Palmer was arrested and transferred to members of the Corrections Division to await arraignment.
Members of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department are working closely with Seneca County Child Protective Services.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation; the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
