The Seneca Falls Town Board has agreed to create the new Civil Service position of director of public works.
According to the posting of the position by the Seneca County Personnel Office, the salary range is $75,000 to $85,000. A Civil Service examination for the position will be scheduled. Any appointment will be provisional prior to receipt of test results.
Minimum qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in engineering, three years of full-time, paid professional engineering experience, and one year of any supervisory or managerial experience. Possession of a state driver’s license is required too.
