Seneca Falls Town residents and property owners now have a chance to comment on the proposed “Host Community Agreement” with the Seneca Meadows Landfill.
The agreement lists the benefits if the landfill remains open for the next 15 years, it’s explained on the town website. Also online is a portal where you can comment until September 1st.
Seneca Falls would receive more than $173 million from Seneca Meadows over the time of the new permit in exchange for the town not opposing the expansion.
