Seneca Falls Police Chief Timothy Snyder has announced Sergeants Eric MacLean and Andrew Hilker have completed the demanding three-week Police Supervisor Course. This course, held at the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement training facility in Ontario County, is designed to equip law enforcement professionals with the skills and knowledge required for effective leadership and supervision within the police force.
Throughout the course, which covers critical topics such as leadership strategies, conflict resolution, crisis management, communication techniques, and ethical decision-making, Sergeants MacLean and Hilker honed their abilities to lead teams, make sound decisions under pressure, and promote positive, professional conduct within the Seneca Falls Police Department.
According to Chief Snyder, Sergeants MacLean and Hilker exhibited exceptional commitment and perseverance throughout the duration of the training, demonstrating their readiness to take on greater responsibility in their roles as supervisors. Snyder added by completing this intensive program, they have further strengthened their ability to mentor and guide officers.
