Sgt. Eric MacLean with the Seneca Falls Police Department completed the two-week Instructor Development Course (IDC) for police officers. The intensive program, which took place at the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Training Facility in Ontario County, was designed to enhance leadership skills, teaching strategies, and instructional techniques for law enforcement personnel.
Throughout the course, Sgt. MacLean participated in a series of dynamic training modules focused on effective communication, curriculum development, and the creation of engaging, impactful learning environments. The course is aimed at equipping officers with the necessary tools to instruct and train fellow officers, ensuring a well-rounded and highly skilled workforce.
