The Seneca Falls Police Department has arrested a 43-year-old man following a series of investigations into property damage and thefts dating back to last year.

Police say Timothy Tandle, of Seneca Falls, was taken into custody on October 30 on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

According to investigators, Tandle is accused of unlawfully entering a vacant residence, damaging property inside, and stealing items from within. One of the stolen items was later recovered and returned to its owner.

In a separate case, officers responded to a report of property damage at a commercial location in Seneca Falls, where a vehicle had been damaged. Police determined that Tandle was involved in that incident as well.

A third investigation involved the theft of an item from a motor vehicle. Patrol officers later spotted Tandle in possession of one of the stolen items, which was also recovered and returned to its owner.

From the three investigations, Tandle faces several charges, including felony burglary in the second degree, felony criminal mischief in the third degree, and multiple misdemeanor counts of petit larceny, criminal mischief, auto stripping, and criminal possession of stolen property.

Tandle was transported to the Seneca County Jail and is awaiting arraignment in CAP Court on all charges.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
