Lifelong Seneca Falls resident, attorney Emil Bove Jr., has cast his hat into the race to become a candidate for the Seneca Falls town board.

Bove stated he is the only candidate with experience and familiarity with our town government and the many issues it faces. Bove has practiced law in New York State for over 50 years. He served on the Town Board, which implemented the Village Dissolution; as a State Assistant Attorney General for 16 years, as a Town and City Attorney, and is currently practicing law with Midey, Mirras & Ricci LLP.

He has served with the Seneca County IDA, the County Economic Development Office, the Seneca County United Way, the Johnson Home, the Seneca Falls Historical Society, the Seneca County ARC, and the Seneca Falls Development Corporation. Drawing on his extensive legal background and years of experience working with local and state government, Bove said he will bring a level-headed, experience-based, common-sense approach to the Town of Seneca Falls.

“There are no easy solutions to the challenges we face, but I believe that when we come together and set aside personal differences, we can find the answers we need to move Seneca Falls forward.”

Bove said his goal is simple: “Roll up my sleeves on day one and get to work. We need to bring back stability and order to our Town Board meetings, and we need to work together—across party lines—to make meaningful change for the people of Seneca Falls.”

A Republican primary for Seneca Falls Town Board will be held on June 24th
