The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has wrapped up its 2025 Citizen’s Academy, a five-week program designed to give community members a closer look at law enforcement operations.
This year’s participants, Bill Thomas, Alex Tavano, and Mark Tavano, learned about the Sheriff’s Office’s various divisions, including Administration, Road Patrol, Criminal Investigation, Corrections, and Civil/Pistol/Records.
On the final evening, attendees took part in mock traffic stops, heard from one of the department’s newer deputies, and received certificates of completion recognizing their commitment to learning more about local law enforcement.
The Sheriff’s Office thanked the participants for their engagement and support throughout the program.
