The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has announced it will be continuing the tradition of its Citizen’s Academy later this year.
Sheriff Tim Thompson said they have made some changes and will hold the classes on Saturday mornings from 9 until noon. It will be a five-week academy that will begin on September 7th and end on October 5th. Participants will learn about the various Divisions and Units of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office. You will also get a chance to meet members of the Sheriff’s Department’s staff.
If you are interested in participating in this year’s Citizen’s Academy, contact Ashley Denmark by phone at (315) 220-3403 or by email at [email protected]. Participants are requested to be at least sixteen years of age and must be registered to attend.
Sheriff Thompson said this is also a great opportunity for those interested in the law enforcement field or would like to learn more about the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office. All classes will be held at the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center in Romulus.
