Seneca County Loses Business Leader

Generations Bank President Menzo Case has died.

Facebook posts announced his death after suffering a heart attack. No other details have yet been released.

Case was involved in many Seneca Falls and Seneca County events and activities.

Case was a leader with Seneca County Habitat for Humanity, he was also the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Finger Lakes Health, and was the driving force behind the Seneca Falls Bell Park, Purple Heart Trail, the Women’s Right to Run, and the Seneca Falls Women’s Sidewalk Hall of Fame.

Mr. Case is our President and Chief Executive Officer, positions he has held since 2008. Mr. Case began his employment with Generations Bank in 1999 as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer and became Executive Vice President in 2002.Mr. Case has over 27 years of experience in banking.He serves as a board member of Finger Lakes Health Systems, Inc., New York Chiropractic College, Rev Theater Company, Seneca County IDA, National Women’s Hall of Fame, the Women’s Right to Run and is a board member and actively volunteers for Habitat for Humanity of Seneca County, New York, an organization which has built homes for over 115 Seneca County residents over the 20 year period of his involvement.

Mr. Case’s extensive knowledge of the banking industry and strong leadership skills provides the board with invaluable insight and guidance into the business and regulatory requirements of today’s banking environment.
