The case of a Waterloo man involved in a dramatic armed standoff earlier this year was adjourned Wednesday in Seneca County Court, as reported by the Finger Lakes Times
Randy Davis, 46, faces multiple felony charges, including three counts of first-degree attempted murder of a police officer, burglary, robbery, and criminal possession of a loaded firearm. The reason for Wednesday’s adjournment was not immediately available.
Davis remains held at the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1 million bail.
The charges stem from a standoff on April 1 at Mallard Crossing Trailer Park, where police said Davis broke into a neighbor’s home, assaulted the resident, and stole weapons. During the standoff, Davis reportedly fired weapons from multiple homes and targeted propane tanks before surrendering after police deployed tear gas.
The case is ongoing, and further court proceedings are expected.
