SHARE NOW

After more than two decades with the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Investigator John Nesbit has officially retired. A ceremony and walkout were held on Tuesday, where family, friends, and colleagues gathered to recognize his long and dedicated career.

Nesbit advanced through several roles during his time with the department, serving as a Deputy Sheriff, Sergeant, and ultimately Investigator. He earned a reputation for his steady commitment, strong work ethic, and professionalism.

“John has served this community for over 20 years,” Sheriff Thompson said. “His work has made us safer, and we wish him and his family the very best in retirement.”

Nesbit’s presence will be missed throughout the Sheriff’s Office and the wider community as he begins the next chapter of his life.
