State Sen. Pam Helming recently visited Jrlon, Inc. at its headquarters in Palmyra to meet with company leadership and learn more about its growth, workforce development, and continued investment in the region.
During the tour, Helming spoke with owners and chief operating officers Brandon Redmond and Chad Redmond about the family-owned company’s expansion plans and its role as a major local employer. The visit underscored the importance of supporting manufacturers that are choosing to grow and stay in Upstate New York.
Founded in the 1950s, Jrlon produces specialized plastic and metal components used in a range of industries, including aerospace, transportation, medical devices, energy, and other advanced technologies. The company has expanded through multiple generations of family leadership and now employs nearly 200 people. In addition to its Palmyra headquarters, Jrlon operates facilities in Spencerport and Summerville.
Helming said family-owned manufacturers like Jrlon are critical to the regional economy, creating well-paying jobs and driving innovation.
